Green Mirror Work Kurta Set with Palazzo and Dupatta — Handcrafted Chinon with Dabka Dori

$ 91.35
Description What makes this green mirror work kurta set with palazzo specialSome colours look like they belong to a season. This one feels like it belongs to a celebration. The green mirror work kurta set with palazzo is built around a multi-tonal green base — somewhere between mehendi green and emerald — flecked with embroidery threads in gold, ivory and rust. The kind of palette that comes alive under fairy lights and against henna-darkened hands.The fabric and why it mattersEverything here is made of premium chinon — kurta, palazzo and dupatta alike. Chinon has been our preferred ground fabric for embroidered pieces because of how it sits on the body: light, slightly fluid, with just enough body to hold heavier embroidery without sagging. It also breathes well, which matters more than people admit at long Indian functions where you're moving between AC halls and outdoor lawns.The embroidery, up closeThe hero of this piece is the handwork. Dabka — that fine coiled metallic wire used in Indian heritage embroidery — is laid down in motifs across the yoke and sleeves, edged with sequins for the catch-the-light moments. Small round mirrors are then hand-stitched in, each held by thread loops rather than glue. The difference shows up after the first dry clean: mirrors that are glued tend to lift, mirrors that are stitched stay put.The palazzo — not an afterthoughtIt would have been easy to give the bottoms less attention. We didn't. This palazzo carries its own hand embroidery, cut from the same premium chinon as the top, with a flowing leg that doesn't drag or balloon at the ankle. The waistband is forgiving enough to sit cross-legged through a long mehndi session without pinching.Looking after the embroideryDry clean only — please don't risk it at home, even on a gentle cycle. Store flat or rolled with mirrors facing inward, ideally with soft cotton muslin between folds. Avoid hanging for long periods, as the weight of the embroidery can stretch the shoulders over time. When pressing, work the reverse side through a thin cotton cloth and steer clear of running the iron directly over the mirrors or dabka work.Material & WashingCare instructions Machine wash at 40 ° C, do not tumble dry, Dry clean allowed, Machine wash on gentle cycleTop Details:Premium and finest Chinon with dabka dori embroidery handmade mirror work embroideryBottom:Premium Chinon embroidered palazzo with handworkDupatta:Premium Chinon with side embroidery laceWashWe suggest you Dry Clean this dress.What is Semi StitchedTailor your outfit to perfection with our Semi-Stitched dress material.
