Notebook Swedish Landscape Flowers A5 from Gullers Trading is a notebook that we sell for the benefit of SOS Children’s Villages. On the cover of the book there are beautiful illustrations of Swedish landscape flowers. The spiral notebook has color printing on both front and back cover and contains 40 lined pages (i.e. 80 double-sided writing pages). The notebook is part of a series of illustrated cards with flowers and plants made by C.A.M. Lindman in the early 1900s. Many of the motifs are also available as posters and notebooks. Landscape flowers are originally an American invention. The United States has long had so-called “state flowers” and the idea of introducing something similar in Sweden was launched by August Wickström and Paul Peter Waldenström in 1908. In Sweden you can find the following landscape flowers: Bluebell for Dalarna Mountain avens for Lapland Snake’s head for Uppland Heather for Västergötland Spruce for Medelpad and so on. So each landscape has its own flower or plant. We also have regional animals, but that’s another story. Quality & Certificates The cover is printed on a 400gr yellow-toned Swedish premium paper. The book has the convenient A5 format and lined pages, it is made in Sweden with Swedish paper and it is of course eco-labeled with both the Nordic Swan and FSC.
