Bought this last minute because I needed something that would pack flat. This item is the epitome of efficient design and function. The setup and breakdown is under 30 seconds as there is only 1 locking pin that gets removed/replaced. The panels are all hinged together and fold flat into a size of a small laptop. The bag it comes with is sturdy and simple. One of the side benefits of this versus a traditional fire ring or fire pit is that it radiates more heat due to its lower height. I used it at a camp out with about 385 other people. Everyone remarked how nice it looked but commented that it put out more heat, further because of the lower walls of the fire ring. Note that due to the fact the fire will be directly on the ground as this ring has not bottom, you need to be wary of flare ups on surrounding grass the first spot you use it. Afterwards the immediate area around the ring (2”-6”) would have burned off already leaving you with a decent firewall. The shadows coming off the stamped trees is a nice touch. Excellent value and a couple of guys bought one while sharing the warmth right on the spot
